Lucky

Lucky

Howdy, Michael here,

I was on vacation last month, up above the arctic circle. Not as cold as you might think—in the mid 40s Fahrenheit up at Svalbard—78 degrees north; 15 degrees east. But Iceland and Norway not so cold. Beautiful country. Tundra, fiords, sea birds, and reindeer.

On the trip, I reread Bruno, Chief of Police, by Martin Walker, which I reviewed here a couple of years ago. French countryside, lots of local color, and an interesting murder to solve. Still enjoyed it the second time around.

I also watched Lucky, a crime thriller on Apple TV, about a double-crossed con artist. Lots of fun. I haven’t yet read the book by Marissa Stapley, but I’m putting it on my list.

On the writing front, I’m redoing the covers for the Travelers series. I’ll share them here when they’re done.

All for now,

Michael
